The Gulag map is frustrating because so much has to be done later on, after you've upgraded equipment, way more so than in the first game.īut once I got past the first 25-30% of the story, oh man, it was a real riptide rush right to the finish line. I hated the first 25% of Rise, it felt like Assassin's Creed a bit and way too much focused on collecting shit for crafting upgrades than advancing the story. ![]() The pacing is one of the best I have ever experienced in gaming. The combat even on the hardest difficulty is pretty easy once you get mechanics down. I really am in love with the 2013 GOTY TR, it's a much tighter story and is a game primarily focused on combat. ![]()
